LEGISLATION UPDATES

Well, the debates and negotiations rage on in the House.  Lawmakers have filed nearly 600 amendments and it's tough to keep up.


Personally, I am sad, mad and scared by what the final cuts will look like.  At this point, it appears all of our clients and families will be effected.  At last check, the House did not come to a decision today, which means they will resume discussions after their recess next week.  Which means they will be back at it on February 28. 


Remember:  Congresspeople will be back in their home offices next week, so take advantage of this opportunity to call, email and write/fax like crazy to advocate for the programs you care about.
